Tom Tate and Matt Reeves recently prevailed in a 2-1/2 day foreclosure confirmation trial in the Superior Court of Gwinnett County, thereby saving the firm’s client, a developer and builder, from a seven-figure deficiency judgment. The case was tried against a large regional bank represented by one of the largest firms in the world. ATC’s performance in this foreclosure confirmation proceeding demonstrates versatility in applying real estate litigation experience in a variety of proceedings, such as condemnations, zoning appeals, real estate contract matters, commercial landlord-tenant matters, runoff/property damage cases, and other real estate disputes.

  1. how did they win the trial?

    • To be honest, that’s really a complicated question to answer. Foreclosures are highly technical and have traps for the unwary. . . that said, every case is different. We are hesitant to set everything out here and have someone try to apply our actions in their own situation with no legal guidance.
